Little Social
Welcome to Little Social, tucked away on 5 Pollen Street in Mayfair, London, where modern European dining meets a relaxed bistro atmosphere. This intimate restaurant is part of Jason Atherton’s celebrated Social Company, and while it carries the flair of fine dining, it manages to remain warm and inviting rather than intimidating.
The menu is seasonal and ingredient-led, showcasing a blend of British produce with French-inspired techniques. Diners can expect beautifully presented plates such as steak tartare with crisp sourdough, roast duck breast with rich jus, or fresh fish options prepared with elegant simplicity. Vegetarians are not overlooked, with thoughtful dishes that highlight creativity rather than compromise. For those who enjoy indulgence, the dessert offerings—like a velvety crème brûlée or a decadent chocolate fondant—are consistently praised in reviews.
Inside, the décor exudes charm: dark wood, leather banquettes, and dim lighting create a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. It’s the sort of spot equally suited for a romantic dinner, a business lunch, or even a celebratory meal with friends. Service is a highlight here, with attentive staff who strike the right balance between professionalism and friendliness. Many diners note that the team is well-versed in the wine list, offering smart pairings that elevate the meal without being pushy.
Location plays a big role in the restaurant’s appeal. Being just a short walk from Regent Street and Oxford Circus, it’s easy to reach and perfect for a post-shopping lunch or an elegant dinner before heading out to London’s nightlife. The reviews often mention how Little Social feels like a hidden gem despite being in such a central part of the city.
If you’re seeking refined food with a casual edge, Little Social delivers—making it one of those restaurants where comfort meets culinary excellence right in the heart of London.

Loved this restaurant. The food and the service was impressive. Emily’s recommendations were spot on. I tried the Coq au Vin and the Bread Pudding with orange ice cream n they were absolutely delicious! Even had a little chat with the chef n the passion for great food n hospitality was evident. Cherry on the icing, despite being really close to Oxford Circus, it was really quiet and not overwhelming! Definitely recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Little Social. When we arrived we were offered the private room at the back of the restaurant - which was an unexpected treat! We all enjoyed our selections. The apricot tart was delicious. Service was top notch. It was a great start to our evening at the theatre.
Went there with wife and daughter. Great not too formal and relaxing vibe, and friendly service. Food was very good value for money on the pre-fix menu, but couldn’t say top notch (although I liked it a lot).
A nice restaurant with cosy banquet seating. It was good but fell a bit short of expectations sadly. This is at the premium end of the market but felt good rather than great. We had some tasty snails to kick off, then a crab salad which was nice. My main course of cod was also good. The pudding of fruit and mascarpone was superb, however. The two serving staff were pleasant but seemed stretched and we had some wait between courses. All in all I was happy but wouldn’t rush back.
Nice atmosphere. Had a three-course set menu. The starter, steak and the dessert Pavlova all tasted good. Our table was in a relatively private area at the end of the restaurant, perfect for 6 people (or a small group). There’s also another table near the entrance which looked good too.
